MEB Overlanding Weekend
in Green Ridge State Forest

Join MEB for the Spring Overland Trip in the Green Ridge State Forest in Flintstone Maryland.
For those that want to start early we will camp Friday night at Group Site 5, not campsite 5. There are two different sites.
We will split the cost of the campsite ($40 for two nights) as well as the cost of the provided port-a pottie among those attending.
We will meet at a later determined spot at 9 am. Saturday morning for those not camping Friday night.
We will be exploring many of the dirt roads throughout the forest with a few stream crossings thrown in.
We will have lunch at one of the many overlooks we will see through the day.
The roads are plenty wide and considered green access roads if you’ve ever been to an off road park,
so no fear of pinstripes down the side of your Bronco.
There will be one or two obstacles you can try, which have bypasses if you choose not to do them.
Saturday night will be pot luck dinner which we will organize what to bring later.
Sunday morning we will make our way to Paw Paw Tunnel on the C&O Canal yo
do a short hike thru the tunnel before having lunch and departing soon after.
