Bronco Family,


We hope this communication finds you all safe and healthy! The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the lives of many and the long term impacts are uncertain. I have seen many working on Bronco projects and as a Club, we were hoping to be able to host the 2020 East Coast Bronco Roundup as scheduled.


After many hours watching news reports, checking CDC updates, and conversations with the Roundup Committee and MEB Board of Directors, we have made a very difficult decision to cancel the 2020 East Coast Bronco Roundup scheduled for June 25 -27, 2020. This decision was largely made In the interest of continuing to support efforts to mitigate the COVID-19 virus, the continued closures of the Pennsylvania counties where the event was to take place, and taking into consideration the anticipated progression timelines from red to yellow stages. In fact, Pennsylvania currently does not have a plan in place to transition from yellow to green. The nature of our event brings people together and it would be difficult to ensure group social distancing which is a mandate of this crisis.


MEB will be issuing refunds for the 2020 ECBR event registration. If you have paid your event registration, you will receive an email communication from Steve Stewart, Treasurer. You have the option to:

  1. Receive full refund

  2. Receive credit toward 2021 MEB event or club dues


Members of the Roundup Committee have been in contact with the management team at Twin Grove RV Resort and Cottages campground. They are open and operational for camping. Bathrooms and bathhouses are open for use and are being cleaned and sanitized on a recurring schedule throughout the day. If you have reserved a cabin, RV site, or tent space, your reservation will be maintained unless you cancel. As a Club, we cannot sanction an official event as the risks are too great for a large social gathering. Each individual and/or family has the option to choose if they wish to go camping at Twin Grove. We have confirmed that AOAA and Rausch Creek Off-Road Parks will be open and operational with some restrictions beginning mid-May. If you choose to vacation at Twin Grove, we ask that you exercise the social distancing recommendations and use precautions to keep yourself and those around you safe! Additionally, please maintain the high standards of respect that MEB club and its members are known to hold.


Since the campground is operational, its cancellation policy is in effect. The cancellation policy is outlined at https://online.rezexpert.com/book?business_code=301469 or may be viewed on your reservation confirmation. In general, if you plan to cancel, contact Twin Grove RV Resort & Cottages at (717) 865-4602 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. There is a cancellation fee of $25 provided you cancel according to campground policy.


The 2021 East Coast Bronco Roundup will be held June 24 – 26, 2021 at Twin Grove RV Resort & Cottages. Reservations for the 2021 event can be made beginning Monday, June 28, 2020. Please do not make reservations prior to June 28, 2020 as you may get bumped.

Registration Instructions:

 

1. If you are a current MEB member, Log In to the left of this page before clicking the "Register HERE!" button.

 

2. Click on "Register HERE!" above to begin.

 

3. To register family members or guests, add each person below where you enter your name and contact info. You will then be able to select meal tickets, event shirt for each person after you make your own selections.


4. Adult meals are checked by default, this can be unchecked for those not wishing to purchase a meal. Also uncheck the Adult meal if you are choosing one of the youth meals.

5. T-shirts are checked by default on Guests. If your guest does not want a T shirt please uncheck.


6. .Select the activities & items you'd like to participate in or pre-purchase and pay for during this registration process.

7. There is a fee and a participant limit for FRIDAYS Street Cruise


8. We recommend that you print the summary on the last page and bring it with you to the Round Up!
  

9. Raffle ticket options are 20, 50 and 100.  If you want to pre-purchase, say 150, then check both the 50 and 100 options.

Additional ticket sales will also be available onsite if you decide you want more.

    • Kid’s meals (ages 6-12) - $10 includes 1 Friday and 1 Saturday meal ticket)
    • Kid's meals for children 5 yrs. and under are free

Experience the sights, sounds and smells of a real, working dairy farm on the Kreider Farms tour. This tour features a high-tech view of farming, including a drive down the middle of our "Cow Palace" barn and a bird's eye view of the milking carousel where we milk 1700 cows, 3 times every day. Filled with facts and humor, the Kreider Farms tour is fun for all ages!

The Kutztown Folk Festival is the oldest continuously operated folk-life festival in America. This nine-day event continues to draw visitors from all over the world, entertaining families while providing valuable insight into the traditions of the Pennsylvania Dutch and their fascinating way of life. This unusual nine-day festival had been featured twice in National Geographic and has been called "one of the most unique festivals on the East coast" by the Washington Post, with good reason.
